Quercialsale - Orcia rosso doc
The intriguing proximity of an oak and a willow near to Terre di Nano is described by the ancient name of "quercialsale", recorded on the historical maps of the borgo of Monticchiello in the Val d’Orcia. The plans of Leonardo for the battle of Anghiari revive in one’s mind the strength and energy of this wine which is made solely from the Sangiovese grape. It is full of character and intensity, filling the palate with suggestions of fruit and vanilla. This is a wine that will age well.
